Dentist in Huntsville, AL

Jake R. Noel, DMD

Dr. Jake Noel has been calling North Alabama home for a long time. In fact, he was born and raised here in Huntsville and went to Grissom High School. He has always had a strong passion for serving others, but he started on a nontraditional path to dentistry with medicine in pediatrics and obstetrics. He started as an intern at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta — Scottish Rite Hospital then pivoted to dentistry due to his love of surgery.

Prior to dental school, Dr. Noel was a golf professional at Cobblestone Golf Course in Acworth, Georgia. He also owned his own consulting company with investment specialties; he was licensed with his Series 6 and Series 63. He was, ironically, “Jake from State Farm” working with his father’s agency in Madison.

Dr. Noel earned his Bachelor of Science degree with cum laude honors from the University of Alabama, majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry, in 2002. In 2004, he received summa cum laude honors at Georgia Tech with his master’s in applied physiology. In 2010, he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham. He graduated, while bestowed with several honors, at the top of his class.

Dr. Noel is a member of the American Dental Association®, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is a former officer in all facets, including serving in the past as the president of the Madison County Dental Society, and he was on the Alabama Advisory Board for Newly Graduated Dentists.

Dr. Jake Noel has specialty training in many fields, including dental bridges, sleep apnea, implants, full-mouth reconstruction and Invisalign® treatment. He also has extensive sedation training and has worked with the Dawson Institute and the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He maintains a rigorous continuing education training schedule in cosmetics and implants. He is proud to use this training to offer high-quality dental implants in Huntsville.

Dr. Jake lives in Hampton Cove with his wife, Kayla, and their two dogs, Myles and Gibbs. When he is not busy making his patients’ smiles brighter, he enjoys serving others through a variety of charities, including coaching baseball, wrestling and soccer to local kids. In his spare time, he is an avid hunter and fisher and enjoys spending time at his lake house.

Dr. Smith is a member of the American Dental Association® and received the Dean’s Medal at UAB School of Dentistry for outstanding scholarship and leadership.
